Hallo Nederlandse motorrijders ( translate from google :) )

I' write from Italy
I would like to buy a Classic BMW from Holland, because the prices are interesting and because is charming to buy a foreign bike
I've seen that Holland have a big passion for classic bikes

I'm searching a 80/7 - 90/6 - 75/6 - 100/7, ultimately spoke wheels

Are there dealer for these bike in your country?

Thank you

Thank you guys

very interesting Marktplaats, in holland you have good prices
also knalpot is good I write to them asking for info

you looking for a dealer but do you looking for a nice looking one?
or a cheap bike for a project

If you were looking for a honda CB, I could give you lot of sites and a dealer.

Are the prices in Italy for a bike that high? because you have to transport the bike to your home and I think that isn't cheap, is it?

good luck with searching :)

The transport for me is not a problem
I would like to do a project, Honda is ok
I need to find BMW or Honda because in Italy you need a tecnichal form to register the bike
This tecnical form is release from the importers or the Historical Federation
the faster solution is Honda or BMW
The price are higher also because italians bikers have only sparkling BMW with low mileage

ok, if you need a project motor, try to search with the tag, "opknapper"
that is in dutch the word for a bike who need attention/ who needs to be fixed.
Or the tag, "loop of sloop" that means: try to make it running or call it total loss and sell it in parts.

I think marktplaat is a good site but not everyone trust people from an other country because of some cheaters if you know what I mean.

on this forum:

bmw r100rt 1979

but perhaps you are more looking for this:

http://link.marktplaats.nl/458122329

the 2 bikes for 1500 euros (big project)

Another two questions
what means p.o.t.k.
how do you call the MOT ( in england )

Hi Guys
I try to send mails to many seller , but I think they don't trust italians :-(
Igors told me

Sorry, another question how do you call the V5 ( england )

When you buy a mcycle , ensure the vehicle papers are complete and the seller (or you when you collect the bike) needs to put the papers in at the official registration office (RDW). You need the export papers for importing purposes in Italy. Thats V5 in a nutshell.

Marktplaats sellers are often cautious selling abroad as many people have had serious issues with foreign buyers as in Nigeria.
Maybe you should indeed look for buying at knalpot.nl They can assure you have the right papers as well.

Good luck!
