Afdeling: Harley-Davidson Benelux is looking to appoint a District Sales Manager who, as a part of the H-D Benelux team, will play a major role with the dealer network, with the objective of meeting all wholesale, revenue and retail sales objectives.
Functieprofiel: The core aim of the role is to develop and maintain the performance of H-DB dealers in the territory and for attainment of the Company's wholesale and retail objective. This includes developing the necessary plans, driving the dealers to hit their annual targets via recommended and best practices techniques such as demonstrations and prospect management tools and by providing the motivation and leadership for participation in H-DB programs and sales campaigns.
Key Result Areas will include:
* Vehicle Sales Volume:
Is responsible for achieving or exceeding the retail and wholesales targets for both Harley-Davidson and Buell.
* P&A/General Merchandise Sales Volume:
Is responsible for the P&A and General Merchandise business within the district. This includes adequately providing the dealers purchasing guidance both in terms of type of stock and quantities as well as insuring the dealers are properly merchandised and educated on the latest Harley-Davidson retailing techniques.
* District Dealer Development/Network Plan:
Collaborates with the Dealer Development Manager in the development and maintenance of an up-to-date district network development plan to maximize the network's results.
* Dealer Relationships:
* Understand, monitor and influence dealer attitudes toward the Company and Company programs for the benefit of the business.
Will utilize the dealer satisfaction survey to fully understand the district perceptions toward the Company and support programs as well as continually talking with the dealers on this subject.
Program Participation:

Provide guidance, motivation and leadership to the network for participation in and leverage of appropriate Harley-Davidson programs for the benefit of developing the dealers and optimizing their sales volume plan and profit opportunity.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden: Excellent remuneration.
Kandidaat profiel:

* Has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a few years experience in a similar sales role, preferably with a consumer-oriented product.
* Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
* This position is expected to make dealer visits on an ongoing basis for four days out of the workweek, typically Tuesday through Friday with Monday being an office/administrative day.
* Limited international travel will be required.
* Good financials skills, strong communicator and very result oriented.
Has an excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language.
