Een niet echte nagemaakte originele is wel goedkoper dan echte originele namaakhelm.

Je vermeld dat het een originele Schwantz helm is, dus ik dacht: dat is bijzonder een originele Schwantz helm. Maar hij het bekijken van de advertentie zie ik dat het een replica is.
Dus geen originele die Schwantz ooit gedragen "zou" hebben, dus lijkt mij het minder bijzonder en dat is wat ik wilde zeggen.
Maar het belangrijkste is natuurlijk hoe blij iemand er mee is die zo iets graag zou willen hebben. Mocht jij degene zijn die de nieuwe eigenaar wordt van helm, dan is dat natuurlijk perfect!

Je hebt helemaal gelijk. Ik heb me misschien verkeerd uitgedrukt in mijn enthousiasme. Ik heb nooit bedoeld dat het een door Kevin gedragen helm is. Die staan echt niet te koop voor dit bedrag, als je ze überhaupt al ooit tegen komt.
Dit is een door Arai uitgebrachte replica helm van Kevin Schwantz. Net zoals ik een door Arai uitgebrachte replica helm van Phil Read heb. Laatstgenoemde zie je regelmatig. Maar de replicahelm van Schwantz kom je bijna niet meer tegen.
En daarom ben ik er juist zo blij mee

Kijk dat is nog eens een enthousiaste reactie! Ik wist dat er hier nog iemand was die hem heeft. Maar wist niet meer, wie. En ook dat ze schaars zijn. Ben er echt heel blij mee!

Haha wie weet. Kevin Schwantz hangt hier prominent in de huiskamer op een canvas doek van David Burk. En sinds kort heb ik een RG500
Zoekend naar onderdelen daarvoor, stuitte ik op deze helm. Die kon ik niet laten lopen. Ben nu nog op zoek naar een kartonnen display met Kevin erop. Maar of ik die ooit nog op de kop kan tikken?

If you care about American Road Racing, if you love this sport, then take a few minutes and read this please. I believe few could say this more eloquently than this gentleman. I do not know this author but I do know Kevin Schwantz. He was one of the few people who welcomed LeoVince at the race track when we showed up in the USA almost ten years ago. He has been tireless in his promotion of Road Racing both here and abroad and is truly an ambassador of the sport. I to am not a hero worshipper but Kevin Schwantz has EARNED his spot in this sport and as motorcyclists and racing enthusiasts he deserves our respect for the entertainment he brought us and the graciousness he has shown as a champion and mentor of young riders. Currently he is assisting our sponsored Team Attack Performance as the riding coach of Blake Young our CRT Pilot this year. During the recent tire test, although properly credentialed, he was escorted off the Circuit of America Property by security, threatened with criminal charges for trespassing and told not to return. Yes there is a pending lawsuit between Kevin and CoTA, but the owners should have shown considerably more decorum than this, this could have been managed gracefully not forcefully. He indeed deserves better than the Treatment CoTA showed in their actions. I guess everything is bigger in Texas, including bullies and bastards.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Last week, Circuit of the Americas (CotA) issued a statement suggesting I had nothing to do with bringing MotoGP to Austin. Unlike others who have had disputes with CotA, I am free to speak my mind. So let me set the record straight: I am the reason MotoGP is coming to Texas and no one currently associated with CotA had anything to do with the design of the actual race track. There's no shortage of evidence to prove these facts.
On February 2, 2011, Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta sent me a letter confirming that 3FourTexasMGP, my company, is the ‘sole rights holder for MotoGP in the state of Texas for the years 2013-2022.’ On February 3, 2011, Comptroller Susan Combs sent a letter to me and Mr. Ezpeleta confirming that the MotoGP U.S. Grand Prix would be included in the state’s Event Trust Fund beginning in 2013. In that letter, the state comptroller explained that the annual funding would be sent to 3fourTexasMGP, 'the rights holder for all MotoGP events in Texas.' On April 12, 2011, at the request of the state comptroller a press conference was held announcing that MotoGP was on its way to Texas. Finally, on July 22, 2011, Mr. Ezpeleta sent a letter to the state Comptroller saying that 'both Kevin (Schwantz) and I are positive that the measured success of our events in Texas will be fantastic for both the state of Texas and MotoGP.’
I have spent too much time and money the past five years on this project, including helping the Comptroller during the 2011 Legislative session and CotA in raising money, for me to sit by and allow this repeated misinformation to continue. CotA's attempt to downplay my involvement with Austin's MotoGP event is silly, but some of the group's other actions may verge on something far more serious. It is my belief that just like the F1 event, they are attempting to rewrite history in an effort to qualify for one of the Texas Event Trust Funds."

Ik volg dit onderwerp nog niet zo lang, mooi om te zien dat er nog steeds zoveel mensen fan zijn van Kevin. Inderdaad belachelijk hoe deze mensen met deze ambassadeur van de motorsport omgaan....zegt wel iets over hoe die lui in de motorsport staan!
Nog een beetje geknutseld de laatste weken, da's dan weer een voordeel van een lange winter.......

Ik volg dit onderwerp nog niet zo lang, mooi om te zien dat er nog steeds zoveel mensen fan zijn van Kevin. Inderdaad belachelijk hoe deze mensen met deze ambassadeur van de motorsport omgaan....zegt wel iets over hoe die lui in de motorsport staan!
