Aprilia Pegaso lekt koelvloeistof

Hallo,

Ik heb sinds een week of 2 een Aprilia Pegaso (1995) en
er is helaas nu al iets kapot. Ik ging vanavond een stukje
rijden en merkte tijdens een pauze op een parkeerplek
dat de motor lekte uit de linker kant van de radiateur(?)
Ik heb de rechter kap eruit geschroefd, een dikke liter
water erin gegooid en ben naar huis gereden. De
temperatuur bleef goed en toen ik hem thuis stil zette
lekte de radiateur niet meer. Toen ik hem even stationair
liet lopen begon hij helaas wel weer flink te druppelen.

Nou vroeg ik mij af of iemand een website of adres
heeft waar ik een (eventueel gebruikte) radiateur
vandaan kan halen, en een goed adres voor onderhoud
in de omgeving Utrecht.

Weet je zeker dat het de radiateur is?

Zou zonde zijn om die te vervangen als het iets relatief simpels is...

Koelvloeistof lekkage is een vaak voorkomend probleem op dit blok met als oorzaak de slechte kwaliteit en ontwerp van de as van de koelvloeistofpomp. Grote kans dat je onderstaand probleem hebt:

The problem of a coolant drip out of the weep hole under the water pump is a well documented and common occurance with the Rotax 650 single. BLAEST mentioned a shaft and two seal earlier. This is the water pump impeller shaft and one oil seal & one water seal. Between these two seals is a small void where the weep hole is. If either seal leaks, the drip can be seen at the weep hole. Typically, it is the coolant water that leaks and the problem has two causes. First, the water pump shaft is not hardened sufficiently or chromed and, over time, the seal wears a groove into the shaft. This makes the shaft smaller in diameter thus reducing sealing. Secondly, the shaft is supported only in one journal, in the clutch cover. This makes the shaft somewhat cantilevered and allows a fair amount of deflection at the impeller-end of the shaft and increasing movement at the water seal. Combine the two and slight leaks are common. I replaced the shaft and seals preventatively on my bike when I replaced the head gasket at 12,500 miles(20000km).

Oké beter even laten nakijken dus voordat ik er een nieuwe
radiateur in gooi. Bedankt.

Nog even de kappen er allemaal afgehaald en er zit een klein gaatje links onderin de radiateur op een hoekje van het metalen gedeelte zeg maar. Is dit te dichten met stop leak? En hoe lang zou ik het hiermee uitstel hebben voordat het weer gaat lekken?
