Onderweg... Nog zo'n 1,5 uur rijden. Ik ga zo maar eens lekker tukje doen, heerlijk zachte stoelen in zo'n mini En ik mag me toch niet met de route bemoeien....

Van de camping naar de nacht van Assen, om 06:00u. uit de stad komend je tentje invallend. En zo brak zijn dat je op moet schieten voor de MotoGP race. Erg gezellig
Been there, done that. Maar laat mij tegenwoordig maar op en neer rijden, dan zie ik nog wat van de races

Taking a trip out of the city limits and into the Drenthe countryside will lead you from village to village, where you will see perfectly kept gardens, orderly rows of large houses and you are sure to find a nice café or tavern for a drink along the way.
For a bit more action head to Groningen, Assen’s biggest neighbouring city. Groningen’s large university and its array of art, culture, museums, theatre, music and nightlife make it a stylish and interesting place to hang out.

Excellent coffee and beer are both easy to find in The Netherlands and that is the case in Assen and Groningen too. In addition to drinks there is plenty to eat, with good Dutch cheese and meat platters always beautifully prepared and presented.
Also try Erwtensoep (green split pea soup), Bitterballen (deep-fried breaded meatballs traditionally made with beef) or Dutch asparagus. All are delicious, whilst for a sweet treat order stroopwafel for desert or to accompany a coffee. Generally, the Dutch eat lunch and evening meals earlier than people in more southerly areas of Europe so it’s worth keeping kitchen opening hours in mind.
The Netherlands’ could not be easier to explore via public transport with the regular bus and train services working efficiently and on time, whilst the good national road network to and from Assen and Drenthe makes driving or riding a motorbike a pleasure here. Remember to always be respectful of the many Dutch cyclists on the roads as they often have right of way over vehicles.

Ja, de VIP route is open, en waar je de snelweg af moet hangt af van welke kant je komt.
Kom je vanaf het zuiden moet je er bij Beilen-Noord vanaf, en dan de borden volgen.richting TT circuit c.q. VIP.

Dat bedoel ik ....een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee ....op de terugweg denkt iedereen dat ze een motogp coureur zijn .

Ik ben vrijdag geweest en na vorig jaar definitief besloten niet meer naar de race te gaan... Wat een mafkezen daar. Volle blikken bier werden er willekeurig over de dijk gegooid. En dan de prijs en de enorme drukte nog..
Die van die volle blikken bier schijnt een vast groepje te zijn met bolderkar en grot tentziel, en zitten altijd boven op de dijk bij duikersloot. Zit je daar.. kijk dan uit en kom absoluut niet in de buurt van die kar, want dan wordt je gestraft met alles wat hard is.

Is de prijs dan zo hoog? Talud valt toch mee. Dan ga je vast nergens meer heen. Tja, die drukte is al jaren zo. Misschien een OW cup wedstrijd bezoeken. Geloof dat het daar niet zo druk is en het is nog gratis ook!

Nouja ik ging in het begon voor 38, en nu is het 45 ofzo? En vond het vorig jaar nog veel drukker dan voorheen. Ik ga voortaan naar de wsbk of vrije training of kwalificatie.
Maar dat de prijs (vind ik) vrij hoog is geeft niet, maar dan wil ik wel normaal kunnen zitten en niet belaagd worden door vervelende lui.

Voor Europese begrippen is ons wegennetwerk en openbaar vervoer uitstekend. Wij zeuren omdat we vergelijken met wat we kennen, maar in Engeland is 'effe de trein pakken' een hele onderneming bijvoorbeeld. Verschillende aanbieders en verschrikkelijke prijzen op sommige trajecten maken Nederland in vergelijking een absolute verademing.
