Here you can see Janet without a broken leg.

But here can you see Bob trying out a sit from a BMW (Beemer) the motor he doesnt want to ride
because its not from the UK.

Haha, the only British Motor Works which I recognise are-
Ariel,
Associated Motorcycles (AJS, Matchless, and their smaller, subsidiary, Norton),
Velocette,
Vincent HRD,
I have heard that there were other small manufacturers (like Triumph, BSA, etc.) but don't think they produced many good bikes.
The only U.K. made horizontally opposed twin I have seen is the Douglas, but they were strange things and I suppose it's possible that this is where BMW got the idea from.
Then there the big twin Guzzi's - this is what BMW should have produced. The Italians are well respected here for their design flair and engineering skills.
I hope I have not upset too many people with all this!!!!
