Hey everyone, I dropped my Kawa and looking for a workshop, which can:
- fix and paint right side fairings
- replace the rear brake lever
- do some light carbon fiber restoration on the exhaust

Also interested in a Dyno stand

Kind regards,

Telling your location would be nice. Otherwise we will give you all the kawasaki dealerships in the netherlands.

But your damage can be fixed by anyone that has tools and knows how to use them. Just go where your friends go.

I called quite a few dealerships, including Motor City and Motoport, none of them are doing paint job

You must have misunderstood them, how else do you think they repair their customers bikes
with accident damage?I worked for Motoport Rotterdam and now for shure that Motoport
can repaint your bike, they will not do that themselves ,but will have a specialist paint shop
that can do that for them.My advice to you is to personally go to Motoport and talk
to the workshop receptionist and explain what you want done.
Motoport Uithoorn also has a dynojet stand ,it,s a separate firm and is located within
the same building.

Maybe give Horeon Motoren a call, Kawasaki dealer in Zwanenburg (just west of Amsterdam).
From their website:https://www.horeon.nl/contact/

Thanks, but no)
Went there, their first question was if I checked the price for a new fairing, took them 3 days to make a quote - 620 eur for painiting only (!) + 190 for labor (to remove fairings) _O-
That's crazy

Also suggested me a used exhaust heatshield for 222 eur, while the price for a new one is 100$

I think I made it quite clear by saying that I need to paint right side fairing. They suggest me to look for a carpaint workshop. I will give it a try though

For a normal paint job you can use a carpaint shop, but as you may well know on some
bikes Japanese manufacturers use a special paint that is hard to copy, for that kind of paint jobs
you can go to a specialist motorcycle paintshop, there are a few here in Holland, the best is
GL Paints https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=...glpaints.nl/&usg=AOvVaw3WjoDIWSCguQkF_qS8c0-p
But they aren,t cheap, quality has it,s price.Or look for second hand parts on Ebay.
Which Kawa model do you own ?

GL Paints is really good, but expensive too! I let them do my restoration paintwork for my CB450K1, but it cost me 1400 euro's.
It was worth it, but it can be done more cheaply.
Here on the forum I found a guy who did my paintwork for my Z650 resto project, it cost me 425 euro's.
full

Ask your question here too, there are a few guy's doing this kind of work.

Thanks for the reference, will check them out. Its zx6r, I can get used OEM fairings from the US (there are a few specialized FB groups) but it would be a waste since the scratches aren't deep.

Had a nasty highside on a track a few years ago riding the same model, the fairings were severely damaged but all repaired, so I thought its's not a big issue.
