Ik ben sinds een maandje op zoek om een GSX-R 1000 te importeren vanuit het buitenland, ik had zelf een K5 model in gedachten.

Dus ik was gisteren op een paarse Duitse websites aan het rondkijken, en kom ik de volgende advertentie tegen:

Mijn eerste reactie was: daar zal wel het een en ander aan kapot zijn, dus ik mailde die verkoper waarom die prijs zo laag was en wat er kapot aan de motor was. Een paar uur later kreeg ik onderstaand mailtje toegestuurd:

They will handle everything: shipping, payment, all the documents and the sale process.
You will have to pay a guarantee between 30% to 50% to the shipping company, and they will bring you the motorbike in about 3 days. From the moment it arrives at your place you'll have 5 days to inspect it. If you like the motorbike, you'll pay the rest of the money and TransGlory will bring me the money. In case you won't like the motorbike, the company will pay you back the advance and bring me back my motorbike (on my costs).
If you agree please reply me with your full name and address. I will forward this information to TransGlory and they will contact you with the unique Tracking Number so you can track your shipping online on their website.

En het meest geniale is, als je naar die website gaat: www.trans-glory.eu.gp. Dit lijkt op het eerste gezicht een echt bedrijf, echter wanneer je kijkt bij scam alert en bij contact, zie je een @live.com e-mailadres?????? En die reclamebalk boven aan de website??????

Fijn zulk soort praktijken.... Maar kan me haast niet voorstellen dat er mensen zijn die daar intrappen...
Moet zeggen dat die website er op het eerste gezicht idd wel professioneel uitziet, maar wat je zegt... Een @live adres?
Mooi wegblijven bij die motor zeg ik....

Motor staat te koop in Keulen, dus niet echt bijster ver Duitsland in.
Ik ben echt benieuwd wat hij zegt als je mailt in de trant van "ben komend weekend toch in de buurt, wil de motor wel zien en meteen de papieren even inzien."

Ze proberen vertrouwen te wekken door het .eu wat er voor zit, maar da's niet de laatste.....

1. You've ignored my question about why the motorcycle is so cheap for two times now.
2. Why would there be German license plates on a motorcycle which is kept in custody in France???? Do your homework man!! Check the license plate system in Germany.
3. You did a fairly good job on the fake website of trans-glory, except for the contact address which is a @live.com address?????? What I did like thoguh was the adbar on top of your website full of commercials :-)
4. And let me guess you want me to pay via wire-transfer or western union???????

And please get a new excuse why I can't drop by to check to motorcycle, the excuse you used is the oldest one in the book!

And please do something with your life, get a job, instead of ripping hard-working people off!!!! You guys make me sick!!

Dit is sowieso een raar verhaal. Gozer in Frankrijk, verkoopt een motor in Duitsland en laat hem naar ["Europe"] verschepen???? Laatste keer dat ik keek lag Duitsland en Nederland nog in Europa, maar de wereld veranderd snel tegenwoordig.

Dikke vette Hoax dus, en als mensen zo dom zijn dit te geloven dan zijn ze volgens mij ook terecht hun centen kwijt.....

Dit komt idd veel vaker voor.
Er wordt een derde 'betrouwbare' partij gebruikt waarbij jij je geld dient te storten. Deze partij blijkt echter gewoon van de 'verkoper' te zijn. Flikkers.
