Verhaal:
THIS is how John Crawford's works Suzuki British Superbike looked after cartwheeling down the track at 162mph at Brands Hatch.

It doesn't matter how spectacular they look, most racing accidents are rarely catastrophic for the bike, but this proved the exception. The damage was total and forced the team to write-off the £100,000 machine.

With the engine alone worth £42,000, it turned out to be one of the most expensive crashes of recent years, for the duration of the accident it cost the team £33,000 a second.

162mph crash, ongelooflijk, dat betekend dat ik volgas nog niet eens zo hard onderuit ga...

gelukkig is het op circuit een kwestie van glijden, en niet vangrail vangen.
