Het is volgens mij nooit officieel bevestigd dat Valentino Rossi aandeelhouder is van Dainese/AGV (correct me if I'm wrong), maar gezien Fenati nu 'ineens' met Alpinestars en Arai rijdt nadat hij uit het Sky VR46 team is gezet, lijkt mij daar geen twijfel meer over?
Goed te zien dat hij de snelheid nog wel steeds in huis heeft, leuk ook om alle foto's voorbij te zien komen.

Erg jammer voor Bo en de rest maar Fenati gaat komend seizoen gewoon WK worden !! Hij gaat gewoon flikken wat Brinder dit jaar heeft geflikt

kijk naar marqeuz die heeft ook het een en ander overgeheveld iets met een schone schip beginnen ..

Fenati is in mij ogen ook echt wel favoriet voor komend seizoen, maargoed, mannen als Di Ginnantonio en Bastianini zullen ook wel weer een stapje omhoog willen doen.
Ben vooral benieuwd wat Binder in de Moto2 kan, of het een gevalletje Kent gaat worden (die het lek boven lijkt te hebben btw) of dat ie gewoon lekker mee kan komen.
Als ik zo gister Bagnaia op de Aspar machine zag rond cruisen en die andere ex Moto3 boys op de nieuwe Moto2 machines ben ik toch wel heel benieuwd wat Bo daar op zou kunnen. Aangezien er toch nog steeds gezegd word dat zijn postuur beter bij een grotere fiets past.
Ach.. time flies anyways!

Iannone heeft op mij ook wel indruk gemaakt met de Suzuki, evenals Aleix op de Aprilia die na anderhalve dag op de Aprilia al sneller was dan Bautista en Bradl na een heel weekend. Knap werk.
Iannone zei zelf overigens dit over de Soes:
Andrea Iannone says he was surprised just how much corner speed the Suzuki MotoGP bike has after trying it for the first time in post-season testing at Valencia.
The former Ducati rider had his first taste of the GSX-RR he will campaign for the next two seasons at the Spanish venue, ending up fourth fastest on Wednesday – 0.624s slower than new Yamaha signing Maverick Vinales.
Iannone said the thing that stood out about his new bike was how much speed it is able to carry into corners, a trait that helped Vinales take Suzuki’s first MotoGP win since 2007 at Silverstone earlier in the year.
“I have a very good impression about the bike, I’m very happy,” reported Iannone. “The bike is a very good base, it has a very good chassis. The feeling with the bike is very good.
“The bike is very fast inside the corner, during the corner we have high speed and this is a good point. But I think it’s normal, we have some parts not at 100 percent. I’m happy also for this because we have a point to improve.”
Asked what specifically about the GSX-RR needed work, Iannone added: “Generally I think it’s very important to improve the first part of acceleration, especially in second and third gear.
“I think we have a good chance to improve this part, because the engine has a good power, but in the first part of the acceleration it’s a little bit difficult, not using at 100 percent the power.”

First Steps Taken Towards 2017 as Lowes and Van Der Mark Complete Aragon Shakedown
The Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team returned to Spain this week as preparations began for the 2017 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. Completing two days at Motorland Aragon's 5,077m circuit, the YZF-R1's were put through their paces as the Yamaha crew evaluated a raft of hardware and electronics updates. Alex Lowes and new teammate Michael van der Mark were satisfied with the progress made and new information discovered.
Totalling 141 laps across the 14 hours of track time, Lowes concentrated on multiple race simulations to evaluate the new season parts, witnessing improvements to consistency and lap-times on old tyres from that of his 2016 pace and confirming the appropriate direction for continued development. New chassis components also provided additional success both in initial analysis and under detailed longer runs, while multiple geometry and suspensions settings were fine-tuned to improve the Briton's feeling further.
Van der Mark's introduction to the Pata Yamaha team and machine also proved productive. Initially concentrating on basic set up, balance and understanding his YZF-R1, the Dutchman quickly got comfortable with his new Superbike allowing consistent and impressive pace throughout the test - without pushing for outright times - and already improving on the Yamaha's level of performance achieved during April's race visit.
With the extensive testing program complete and additional areas now identified for targeted development, Lowes and van der Mark are looking forward to 2016's final on-track analysis ahead of the winter break, as the Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team travels to Andalucía for three days of testing, scheduled at Circuito de Jerez next week.
