Fuel tank

So I recently crashed . Van decided the road ain't bug enough for both of us .
I am looking for a fuel tank for a Suzuki VZ800 Marauder . mine can be saved and I am planning on trying to fix it after I have the use of my arms back . but a replacement is also on my ming .
I have looked at salvage yards here in the Netherlands , and nearby countries but I can't find a used one , new ones don't seem to exist And even if they did I am not able to pay the price for one as all the other parts I need to add up to a hefty sum .
Does anyone know if a tank from another bike will fit ?
